Apple Tablet PC should be introduced on 27th of January, may miss on the shelves. Analyst Shaw Wu points out that at Cupertino they are currently engaged with some “minor problems” with coming Tablet PC. Trouble, causing the battery to be quickly emptied and do not provide long enough autonomy and security performance. What specifically that mean Wu doesn’t tell.
In his words the new Tablet PC will be a kind of hybrid between iPhone, player iPod Touch and MacBook. On the hardware side would be closer to the first two; the operating system is expected to remember more the one that drives Apple’s laptops.
“According to our information Tablet PC is not meant as a replacement for the Mac laptop, but as a kind of ‘super’ iPod Touch, where you can watch video, play games, browse the web, read e-books and run a range of applications,” adds Wu.
Price of Tablet PC is currently unknown. While Wu and yet some experts believe that (at least initially) would be 999 dollars, others predict that Apple could offer their latest product already for 600 dollars.
