Archos is competitive to all readers of virtual books, because it’s multifunctional like Apple’s iPad.
This is another alternative to the iPad, which works on Windows 7 operating system and not on Android used by Google and Nexus. The main feature of the Archos, is of course Android platform. With a large number of preset applications has yet AppsLib. AppsLib is the library of free and payable applications and Archos offers three hundred to four hundred applications that are ready to use.
It also has HDMI input, which means that you can watch movie while you drive the bus home, but when you get home, just connect your device to a TV and continue watching through the TV screen. Combined with HDMI the entrance to the Archos via USB or Bluetooth entrance you can plug keyboard and use the TV screen as a monitor.

You can get Tablet PC with 160GB or 500GB, with HDMI inputs you can connect external drives and thus enable virtually unlimited space.
So Archos include: Hi-Def video, TV out, music, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB, and all this in device size of smart phone. However, because the Android is open platform, we may expect in the future new applications. Prices for different models swivel between 300$ to 450$ (US dollars).
