MobileDummy on Technorati

Late last year Technorati made changes to their existing ways and added a couple new ways. Their site has literally been rebuilt from the ground up (G6VJDBPRQ8EQ). This means that they also changed the way how the Technorati crawl blog content. The essential change is to no longer accept pings from the web sites.

Given these changes I added MobileDummy blog on Technorati, where I got claim token for my blog. However, since I did not read the instructions for blog claim, I recently received the following notice from them.

Please make sure that you have entered it correctly in a post body and that the token appears in the feed whose URL you have given us.

At the moment, I received notice; I did not know where I made a mistake, so I decided to find the answer on one of the blogs, which I regularly read.

Searching through blogs I manage to find interesting post about Technorati blog claim, which was posted on A Little Boys Blog and decided to borrow it, so I could verify my blog on Technorati network.

Hello Mr. Techno,

Kindly approve my new URL. Here’s the verification code you asked me to put within my new post G6VJDBPRQ8EQ. Can you see it? I’m sure it’s also visible on my RSS feed. Doesn’t it prove I’m the author of this blog? Can I claim my blog now?

Hahaha that's actually my "fun way" to claim my blog on Technorati. All you need to do is just put the claim token within any new post and make sure it shows up in your RSS. So if you use excerpted RSS, better put the token at the beginning of the post.

I published my post on the 20th and this morning (March 25th) I got email saying they found my token and now they're reviewing my blog. Hopefully it won't be stuck there :)

    Good luck!

I also think it is funny, that is why I borrowed it. I only change you token and replace it with mine.
I use feedburner RSS. I hope it will work :)
