Transformer computers are coming! At CES fair Lenovo has introduced the first hybrid laptop in the world. Lenovo IdeaPad U1 allows removal of the screen and its use as a Tablet PC device with mobile Internet access.

One laptop serves as the two devices. Each of the devices is equipped with its own processor and operating system. They can act so together as separately – either as a modern laptop or as tablet PC.

Attractive red exterior is only the first part of the puzzle. Laptop because of its design still maintains a major asset, such as thinness and low weight – weighs around 1.7 kilograms namely, a separable part of the Tablet PC contribute to this 750 grams.

IdeaPad U1 is equipped with high resolution 11.6-inch screen with LED backlight, which further contributes to low energy consumption. Laptop offers up to 8 hours of autonomy of action in battery, detachable part of the Tablet PC, propelled by powerful mobile processor ARM with an adjusted operating system and 5 hours of active surfing the web. IdeaPad U1 is equipped with a camera and a pair of speakers, so serves users with a good multimedia experience.
