The First Motherboard for Android OS


In the first half of December, members of a team of programmers Android-x86 make sure that the benefits of mobile operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich can also benefit those who use x86 architecture processors (AMD Brazos). VIA Technologies engineers have gone one step further. They have prepared the first motherboard for x86 processors, which is fully compatible with popular mobile operating system Android.

Motherboard or platform EITX VIA-3002 as the first general providing official support for Google’s mobile operating system. Novelty measures just 12 x 17 inches (Em-ITX format) and is capable to process a bit more demanding computational tasks. Engineers from VIA equipped it with dual-core processor VIA Nano X2 1.2 gigahertz frequency. Also for the second choice is VIA Eden processor X2 one gigahertz frequencies. VX900H whole concludes with chipset graphics processor for playback of HD videos.

Motherboard EITX VIA-3002 for the Android mobile operating system will be on sale soon. This will initially be available only for devices based on the touch sensitive screens. Among them, will dominated car PCs and newsstands. Soon after that the fixed plate EITX VIA-3002 should be also available to ordinary mortals.
