Samsung has announced the arrival of “hybrid DSLR camera” as they call it. NX10 belongs to the genus modern hybrids between compact and SLR cameras, which first pick up a system to capture images and all the rest from others. Samsung NX10 is also “almost DSLR”, which lacks an optical viewfinder. Instead, the photographer looks at the electronic viewfinder or the 3-inch AMOLED screen.
Wondering what is the advantage of such a design? In the absence of optical viewfinder the camera is smaller and, of course, most producers’ prices lower production costs.
Samsung NX10 otherwise boasts a CMOS image sensor APS-C size, which can count 14.6 million points. In addition to shooting can also record video in 720p resolution.
Unfortunately, Samsung decided for entirely new connector bayonet lens, which means that if you will purchase NX10 you will be forced to replace all lenses, even if you’ve already had such for Samsung or Pentax DSLR cameras.
